Last December 17-26, 2024, the Parish along with the faithful of Ligao celebrated its 417th Parochial Fiesta in honor of St. Stephen the Protomartyr, the first martyr of the Catholic Church. The feast celebration traditionally began with 9-day Novena followed by Holy Mass celebrated by guest priests. Each Novena-Mass guided with a theme substantiated during the homily in the Holy Mass. Day 1 focuses on “Am Simbahan: Katiwala sa pagpapahayag asin pagpapayaman kan pagtubod”. For Day 2 “An Simbahan: Katiwala sa Liturhiya asin Sakramento. Day 3 “An Simbahan: Nagmamakulog asin nag-aataman s kapwa”. Day 4 “ An Simbahan: Nagsasaksi sa katanosan asin katoninongan”. Day 5 “Pangataman sa Kapalibotan”. Day 6 “ Pamamahala sa Yamana kan Simbahan”. Day 7 “Pagpapayaman kan Pamana asin Kultura”. Day 8 “Pagpapayaman kan Bokasyon asin Misyon”. And Day 9 “Pagpapahayag kan Marhay na Bareta sa Makabagong Panahon” who was celebrated by Most. Rev. Joel Z. Baylon, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Legazpi. On the feast day, December 26, 2024 at 5:00PM, Most. Rev. Luisito A. Occiano, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Virac led the Misa Concelebrada together with the priests of the Diocese of Legazp.
The fiesta celebration was also highlighted with procession of the Barangays’ patron saint image going to Church during their sponsoring day; procession of the sacred image of St. Stephen the Protomartyr together with the patron saint images of the 26 barangays covered by the parish on the eve day at 6:30PM; sacrament of Baptism at 10:00AM on the feast day, sacrament of Confirmation last December 21, 2024; Bucket of Love Gift Giving last December 21, 2024; Parish Youth Day last December 23, 2024; PREX Grand Reunion last December 20, 2024; and Launching of Parish Commission on Media and Communication last December 26. 2025.
