If you are considering SSPP as the place for you to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage, we want to support and assist you in the best way possible as you embark on this very important commitment in your lives.

Marriage is the unique Sacrament which binds one man and one woman together in a covenant under God and His Church. It is a Sacrament of vocation, a response to a specific calling that God has placed in the hearts of a couple. It is a bond that lasts for life which is permanent, faithful, and fruitful. Marriage is not just about two people, but is the foundation of the family, the ‘domestic church’, the most basic and foundational structure, not only for the Church, but for all of society.

At SSPP, weddings are usually held at 8:00AM, 9:30AM, 11:00AM, 1:30PM and 3:00PM from Mondays to Saturdays. Since marriage in the Catholic Church is a sacrament and a lifetime commitment, one of the ways we value and honor it is by taking time to help couples prepare. All couples begin this process by booking/reserving their desired date of wedding at least 3 months before the wedding. Submission of ALL requirements must be completed and submitted one (1) month prior to the actual wedding date. All documents must be in original form and six months old inclusive of the wedding date. 

Requirements:

– Baptismal Certificate – with annotation “FOR MARRIAGE PURPOSE”
– Confirmation Certificate – with annotation “FOR MARRIAGE PURPOSE”
– PRE-CANA SEMINAR (Marriage Vocation Program)
– Marriage Banns (3 Sundays Publication)
– Canonical Interview (3 months before wedding date)
– 1 pc. each of 2×2 ID Picture of groom and bride
– Marriage License (120 days validity)
– List of sponsors with complete address

Schedule and fees:

– Preferred schedule with service fee of Php 10,000.00

– Ordinary wedding every Thursday of the month  with service fee of Php 2,000.00

– Free Wedding Rites every last Thursday of the Month
