A Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving.

On March 16, 2024, at 11am, two important events took place at Harong Kan Ama, marking significant milestones in the lives of 2 seminarians. Seminarian David Paul B. Prollamante, from our very own St. Stephen the Protomartyr Parish, was installed to the Ministry of Lector, while Seminarian Lacson was admitted to the Candidacy for Sacred Orders.

Most Rev. Joel Z. Baylon, D.D., Bishop of Legazpi celebrated the Eucharist, during which he led the rite of installation and admission. David Paul, a second-year theology student at Holy Rosary Major Seminary in Naga City, took a significant step forward in his formation with his installation as a lector. This ceremony marked an important moment in his journey toward the priesthood, signifying his readiness to serve the Church in this particular ministry. We are proud to see one of our own seminarians continue to grow in faith and dedication.

Seminarian Lacson’s admission to the candidacy for sacred orders is another important moment in his vocation. While he is not from our parish, his journey is equally inspiring, and we ask for God’s blessings on him as he continues to discern his call to serve in the priesthood.

As a parish, let us unite in prayer for both David Paul and Lacson as they continue their formation and discernment. Let us also pray for more vocations, especially from our own St. Stephen the Protomartyr Parish, that more young men may hear God’s call to serve the Church. May we continue to support and pray for all seminarians as they walk this sacred path, trusting that God will guide them in their journey.

Let us keep our seminarians in our thoughts and prayers, asking for God’s guidance and blessings as they prepare for their future service to the Church.
