Fr. Paulo B. Barandon.
This initiative aimed to promote rehabilitation and reintegration of probationers and parolees into society through participating in activities that could have a lasting impact in the communities they reside in. Among these activities may include, but not limited to clean-up drives, tree planting activities, and campaigns to promote the community-based rehabilitation program of the Parole and Probation Administration. The clients may also advocate for campaigns to raise awareness on various social issues.
The supervised probationers and parolees rendered service this month thorough cleaning of the parish, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the community. This activity not only contributed to the upkeep of the parish but also fostered a sense of responsibility and accountability among the participants.
Probation and Parole Officers play a crucial role in supervising and guiding offenders during their rehabilitation process. They ensure that the conditions of supervision are upheld and provide support and resources to help offenders overcome challenges and become productive members of society. Community service activities like this one promote a sense of community and social responsibility among probationers and parolees. By engaging in such activities, they can develop new skills, build self-esteem, and demonstrate their commitment to rehabilitation and reintegration. In addition, this endeavor is a testament to the power of rehabilitation and community service. We commend the efforts of the officers and the dedication of the probationers and parolees who participated in this initiative, and we express our gratitude to Rev. Fr. Paulo B. Barandon for his support and guidance. (Chona A. Pintor)
