Holy Thursday April 17, 2025 – St. Stephen the Protomartyr, Parish Ligao City

Holy Thursday is a powerful reminder of Jesus’ selfless love and humility. When He washed His disciples’ feet, He showed us that true leadership is about serving others, not being served. This act of service is a call to each of us to put others first and to love without condition.

The Last Supper is also a moment to reflect on the gift of the Eucharist. Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and shared it with His disciples, giving us a symbol of His body broken for us. This sacred ritual reminds us of God’s love and presence in our lives, and invites us to deepen our relationship with Him.

As we celebrate Holy Thursday, let’s remember Jesus’ example of love and service. Let’s strive to follow His footsteps by serving others, loving without condition, and living out our faith in meaningful ways. May this day be a reminder of the transformative power of Jesus’ love and mercy in our lives.
