Today, March 10, 2025, marks the beginning of our novena to St. Joseph, lovingly led by our President, Jose Capinpin, and the St. Joseph Association of St. Stephen the Protomartyr Parish in Ligao City.
We invite all members of our parish community, as well as members of other Religious Groups, and the Barangay Pastoral Council (BPC) to join us in honoring the life and legacy of St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus.
Throughout this novena, we will reflect on St. Joseph’s virtues and values, including his humility, trust, and selfless devotion to his family. We will also pray for his intercession, seeking his guidance and protection in our lives.
We are grateful for the leadership of our President, Jose Capinpin, and the members of the St. Joseph Association, who have worked tirelessly to organize this novena and promote devotion to St. Joseph in our parish.
The culmination of our novena will be marked by two special events:
1. On March 18, time to be announced (TBA), we will hold a procession in honor of St. Joseph, carrying his image through the streets, singing hymns, and praying for his blessings.
2. On March 19, we will celebrate the Feast Day of St. Joseph with a High Mass, coming together as a community to worship, give thanks, and seek St. Joseph’s continued guidance and protection. Let us come together as a community to pray, reflect, and celebrate the life of St. Joseph. May this novena be a source of spiritual growth, renewal, and blessing for all of us.
Our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Paulo B. Barandon, has provided invaluable guidance and support to our St. Joseph Association Ligao.
