Novena to Our Lady of Salvation
OPENING PRAYER
Heavenly Father, with heads bowed in humility and in prayer/ prostrated before your knees in adoration, we implore Thee to give us grace, O Lord, to prove our love for Thee by keeping Thy Commandments. Help us through our prayers in this novena to love all men for the love of you. Help us, to obtain spiritual riches, not worldly honors, not temporal pleasure but the joys of Heaven, for all things in this world will perish. Amen.
Dear Lady of Salvation, be the model of our life in the way you live by faith.

FIRST DAY
Advocate of the helpless, Our Lady of Salvation, Holy protectress of the needy, We implore thee to obtain for us our earnest petition, in this novena, for the great glory of God and our own sanctification (…here mention your request…) Most dear advocate, be thou our guide and purify our intention so that we may obtain the pardon of our sins and the grace to persevere daily in the service of God. Comfort us in our tribulations and take us under your care and vigilance. Place all our hopes in you in order to obtain through your powerful mediation and intercession with God, health of soul and body. Obtain for us the grace (here mention that grace). Be our intercessor with God, that with fulfilling the duties of my state in life we may merit eternal salvation. Amen.

CONCLUDING PRAYER
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, symbol of the boundless love of our Savior to thee, we offer our endless adoration of gratitude. Help us to love our neighbors and families more dearly. Help us to prepare for Heaven, our home by honoring, loving and serving you.
Grant, we beg Thee, Oh God that we may feel the intercession for us of thy loving mother, so that living wisely and justly, we may obtain eternal reward through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

SECOND DAY

Oh, Lady of Our Salvation, refuge of the human race, Virgin most powerful, We pray and beseech Thee that through your powerful intercession we may have the strength and grace to follow you and Jesus here on earth and to heaven at our resurrection. May your overflowing love, be poured out during this Novena upon us prostrated on our knees before you in honoring you for the glory of thy Son, Jesus, who liveth and reigneth with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, world without end. Amen.

THIRD DAY
Recite the Opening Prayer then:
Our Lady of Salvation and Queen of the Most Holy Rosary preserve us from the spiritual and material dangers of the war. Increase in our heart, the spirit of piety so that we may ever be devoted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be more deeply religious. Inculcate in the heart of our present politicians the spirit of morality. Help them that their ambitions should be built along constructive character once they are in power, that the laws that they enact be to the benefit of the Filipino People and they must legislate in the interest of all the people and not for the benefit of the few.
Oh Queen of Heaven, we pray Thee to bliss the wicked candidate. Have mercy upon the good ones who will always take account the rights of the one true Church in the deliberation of their legislative duties. We entrust to thee, Oh God not to abandon them.

FOURTH DAY
Recite the Opening Prayer then:
Ever faithful and vigilant Guardian of the Son of God, Lady of Our Salvation, do not permit us to depart from your presence before you have heard our prayers. The souls of our relatives who may be in Purgatory rely upon your intercession. We come to you since we know that Jesus your Divine Son never denies you anything that you may ask of Him. How many tears we have shed since death separated us from our father, mother, etc. We seem to hear them, so that we constantly call upon you, knowing that very little we can do with our own prayers.
Oh Mary conceived without sin, pray for us.

FIFTH DAY
Recite the Opening Prayer then:
Oh Immaculate Conception, for all human creatures, you alone were preserved free from the stain of original sin. Into our souls also, this glorious life of sanctifying grace was infused on the day of our baptism, but through neglect of prayer, we have hindered the growth and by our sins we have destroyed it. Oh Immaculate Mother, awaken in our souls a spirit of true contrition for all the sins of our life. May no temptation be ever so strong to cause to lose this Divine life. Beautiful Lady of Our Salvation, make known to Jesus all the temporal and the spiritual needs of poor sinners.

SIXTH DAY
Recite the Opening Prayer then:
Queen of Angels, merciful mother, and Lady of Our Salvation, we implore thee to lessen the toil of expiation of the soul in Purgatory. Intercede for them that they maybe delivered from sufferings and partners of the eternal joys of Paradise. Blessed art Thou amongst women and for the sake of these* great joys we repeat imploring for your powerful intercession that the perpetual light of Jesus Christ, with the Father and the Holy Ghost, shine upon them for all eternity. Amen.

SEVENTH DAY

Oh mild and merciful Virgin of Our Salvation, Mother of God and also our Mother, Grant us the grace which we ask in this Novena. We come to Thee inspired with the Confidence that any one who fled to thy help was left unaided. Aid us also with your power of assistance; to you we come, to you whom are given the care and Salvation of Man. We beg of thee, our Queen illuminate our soul in order to reach the end fro which we were created. Grant us that which we ask for in this novena if it be for the glory of God and the good of our souls. Amen.

EIGHT DAY
Recite the Opening Prayer then:
Holy Virgin of peace, Virgin most pure, grant that we may fix in our hearts a Holy Fear of God, the beginning of all things in existence, the beginning of wisdom. We implore Thee Queen of martyrs to obtain from our Savior, the dispenser of every good, the restoration of health of the body and soul means to persevere in the service of God, and thus merit the eternal Glory in Heaven.

NINTH DAY
Recite the Opening Prayer then:
Dear Lady of Salvation, powerful advocate of man, the past nine days of prayer have been a source of happiness and consolation to us. We want the blessings of this novena to continue with us in the future. We implore Thee, to obtain for us the grace of the loving God, to give us patience in adversities. Teach us the way to follow the Cross where we can obtain our Salvation. We will live to God what is best for us. We will accept all sufferings that He sends us, so that these sufferings will increase our merits in Heaven. Amen.
