The First Holy Communion catechesis for Grade Four pupils from 21 public elementary schools in the parish has commenced to prepare the candidates to receive Jesus through the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. Simulation activities such as executing the Sign of the Cross with reverence, kneeling down, reciting the Lord’ s Prayer (OUR FATHER) fervently and facing the priest in the sacrament of reconciliation have been acted out. The simulation for the Holy Mass will soon follow after the children have memorized the responses during the Eucharistic celebration.
