The historical SACERDOTAL ORDINATION of Rev. MARK AUSTINE BELARDO TUASON of Nasisi, Ligao City, and St John the 23rd Quasi Parish of Bgy Batang was witnessed by the majority and faithful Ligaoeños in a solemn ceremony at the St. Stephen, the Protomartyr Parish on March 25, 2025. The first ever Ordination to the Sacred Order of Presbyter in the twentieth century, and the Jubilee Year of Hope in 2025, brought pride and honor to Fr. Austine’s family and the parish as a whole as well. Present during the momentous event were priests from the Dioceses of Legaspi, Caceres, Virac, Daet and and Libmanan. The priests were either Fr. Tuason’ s formators, mentors, classmates and friends who came to share the honor and joy with him. Incidentally, the chosen date March 25 is the Solemnity of the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary which also marks the Sacerdotal Ordination of His Excellency, Most Rev.JOEL ZAMUDIO BAYLON DD, Bishop of Legaspi.
